Project Spotlight: Transforming Karis and Jeremy's Home
At Eve Street Electrical, we take great pride in every project we undertake, and our recent work for Karis and Jeremy is no exception. They embarked on a comprehensive home renovation and entrusted us with all their electrical needs. Here’s a glimpse into how we helped transform their space.
LED Lighting Installation
Karis and Jeremy wanted energy-efficient lighting solutions that would light up their home beautifully while reducing their energy bills.
To achieve this, we replaced all the dated 90s light fixtures with modern, state-of-the-art LED down lights throughout their home.
These provide bright, clear lighting that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in every room. We also installed LED lights under the
kitchen cabinetry and in the living space, enhancing functionality and adding a touch of modern elegance to these spaces.
Complete Rewiring
Given that Karis and Jeremy's home was originally built in the 1990s, a complete rewiring was essential to meet the demands of modern electrical appliances and systems. There was an almost complete redesign of the electrical system, including a full update to the main switchboard, to suit the new layout of the renovation.
The old wiring was outdated and not equipped to handle current electrical loads safely. Our team rewired the entire home, bringing all electrical systems up to code. This comprehensive update ensured that every outlet, switch, and fixture operated flawlessly and safely, providing peace of mind for years to come.
Outdoor Lighting Design
One of the standout features of this project was the outdoor lighting. Karis and Jeremy envisioned a backyard that could be enjoyed both day and night, especially for entertaining friends and family. We designed and installed a completely bespoke combination of outdoor lights and modern LED lighting to highlight their concrete planter. This not only modernised the space but also created beautiful mood lighting. The carefully positioned lights accentuate their landscape, making their backyard an inviting and functional space for any occasion.
